Doc Bell’s now being sold at Salem Gardens

Doc Bell’s is very excited to announce that you can now find our all natural bath & skin care products at Salem Gardens & Plants in Apex, NC.   The owner, Michele Blackley, has a beautiful nursery set up on Salem Church Road where you can find all sorts of plants, flowers and trees.  Her nursery also has a cute little old house which she has converted into a shop where she sells local products, including Doc Bell’s.

So swing on by Michele’s place and when you do be sure to check out the goodies in the shop.

A Great Opening Day at the Cary Farmers Market

What a gorgeous day to open the Cary Market. We had a nice turn-out and I met lots of wonderful people (both working at the market and people shopping).  Although it’s early in the growing season there were still some lovely vegetables, herbs and flowers for sale. Not to mention some great crafts as well.

If you couldn’t make it this week we hope to see you next! We’re there every Saturday from 8AM until 12:30PM, rain or shine.

Doc’s at the Downtown Cary Farmers Market

Doc Bell’s is very excited to announce that we will be selling at the Downtown Cary Farmers Market this season!  For at least the first part of the season we’ll only be selling our amazing bath & skin care products and hopefully by the fall/winter season we’ll have some of our sustainably grown produce and nuts as well.

For those of you not already familiar with Doc’s and our products, we make all natural bath & skin care products made with certified organic ingredients.  We never use synthetic fragrance oils because they tend to be filled with all sorts of chemical nasties like phthalates and parabens.  At Doc’s we use only all natural and certified organic essential oils to create tantalizing aromas in our soaps, lotions, lips balms, and Dead Sea salt scrubs.

This weekend we’ll have beautiful gift baskets just in time for Easter Sunday too!

So don’t miss the opening day of the Cary Farmers Market.  We open at 8AM this Saturday, April 3rd and we’ll be there until 12:30. It’s going to be a gorgeous day so bring the whole family and support your local growers and businesses!

We hope to see you there!

Welcome to Doc Bell’s

Dr. George Manly Bell was a prominent physician who worked and lived in what was then known as Wakefield, NC, a small town located 30 miles east of Raleigh.  Dr. Bell, his wife Helen and their five children lived in the Bell House in Zebulon, NC in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s. Dr. Bell was known for his healing touch and generous spirit. The land which surrounded his home was full of bountiful gardens, vineyards, and fruit & nut trees which the family planted and tended to.

At Doc Bell’s we carry on that tradition where we grow a variety of herbs, fruits, vegetables and nuts on the same land Dr. Bell and his family farmed.  At Dr. Bell’s we farm using only organic and sustainable practices.  And you can rest assured that we never use chemicals or genetically modified seeds or plants. At Doc Bell’s you will also find all natural skin & bath care products that we create with certified organic ingredients.
